As the date marking the beginning of my journey in 24/7 rapidly approaches, I have two major concerns on my mind.
The first is my increasing need for financial support to make my dream of entering 24/7 Leadership Academy and Ministry School possible. I'm so excited to participate in the amazing, life-changing ministry experiences offered through 24/7 while finishing up my AS in Pre-Dental Hygiene from SCF and working toward a career in Dentistry. But this can only be possible through financial donations from anyone who is capable of giving. I know that these are really tough times and that nearly everyone is having problems making ends meet as it is. That's the same reason I can't pay for the tuition by myself. Seriously, even the smallest amount helps. If you're capable of making a larger one-time gift or are interested in donating monthly, the financial support would be greatly appreciated. The OTHER major concern on my mind is how in the world I am going to be able to run 3 miles without stopping on a daily basis. This isn't necessarily a requirement for a student to enter 24/7, but I've been encouraged by the leader of 24/7 at Bayside to be able to do this in order to be prepared for the least of all the exercises we'll be doing every day. That's right, running 3 miles a day, 5 days a week is the MINIMUM amount of endurance one should have for the exercises we'll be doing. Since 24/7 focuses on growth in all areas of the student's life (educational, physical and spiritual), working out daily is part of the program. So I've been trying to follow the "Couch to 5K" program that's become so popular these days, but it is kicking my butt!
Now if only I could get off my butt and get running AND get enough financial support to keep me in 24/7, I'd be set!!
